2020 HMIS Data Standards Change Overview

FY2020 HMIS Data Standards Manual: This comprehensive document explains and defines all data elements including Project Descriptor Data Elements, Universal Data Elements, Program Specific Data Elements, and Metadata Elements.

FY2020 HMIS Data Standards Dictionary: Similar to the HMIS Data Standards Manual, this comprehensive document reviews all data elements and goes into depth about the points of collection for each.

Data Entry for FY2020 Data Standards Update: This summary document reviews only the changes made in the FY2020 data standards at a very high level.

FY2020 HMIS Reporting Glossary: This document reviews how HUD-required reports are to be programmed and how the data is populated.

ICA HMIS Document: This document contains all questions required for the HUD required questions along with those required for the state of WI.

NOTE:  These changes are effective for any client that was still in your project on 10/1/19 and any client that enters on 10/1 or after. Most of the new fields require that you go to the Entry and update the new field on the Entry.  We are updating the Data Completeness Reports to reflect these changes.
