This year the PIT date is January 22, 2025.

  • Every community nationwide participates in the count.
  • The unsheltered and sheltered count will continue as normal for 2025 in your state.

  • Transitional Housing
  • Rapid Re-housing
  • Safe Haven - There are no HUD defined Safe Haven project types in Vermont
  • Permanent Supportive Housing

Additional Notes:

  • All agencies will also receive an email from ICA staff to gather program information to confirm things like; funding source, bed numbers, address, start dates, etc. This information is gathered each year to make sure that the CoC is reporting the most accurate program information.
  • In March 2025 ICA will be compiling all the data from the different data sources - HMIS, Google Forms and DV Data documents, to create the combined PIT data that is needed to submit to HUD for each HUD CoC. HIC reports and the PIT data will be used to populate the HIC portion of the required data submission to HUD.
  • Warning and Errors in the HUD database will be addressed during this time as well.
  • Please be aware that ICA staff may be contacting you to ask questions to help with this work. We will also have limited available time to schedule calls with providers in order to get all this work done.
