[HSNG-104] Monthly Housing Report
Report Purpose and Summary
This report is a monthly review of Clarity participating housing programs within your agency. The average attendance displayed is the number of clients that held a bed night on average on any given day in the report period. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact you HMIS System Administrator.
Instructions
Make sure you are operating in Clarity under the agency you are running the report for. You can check and change this under your name in the top right corner.
Step 1: Click on the Launchpad, then click on the Reports icon.
Step 2: In the Report Library, click the down arrow next to the Housing folder to expand the section.
Step 3: Click the Run button next [HSNG-104] Monthly Housing Report.
Reporting Parameters
Step 4: Enter the following parameters
Month | Select a month within the last 6 months |
Report Output Format | Web Page*, PDF, or Excel |
*Drilldown Functionality is available for both DQ% and Unique Count when run in Web Page Format
Step 5: Click S ubmit
The file will be sent to the Report Queue. Once the report is processed, you will receive a notification that the report is ready.
To open the report, either select Open on the popup or click the Queue icon and then click Open.
Reporting Details
The report breaks down the project enrollments into the following sections:
Emergency Shelter
Transitional Housing
Permanent Supportive Housing (disability required at entry)
Safe Haven
PH – Housing Only
PH – Housing with Services
PH – Rapid Re-Housing
If there is an X in the column, there were no active enrollments during the reporting period. Drilldown Functionality:
Average
This column reports using the mean average, how many beds were occupied out of the total available beds during the month. Emergency Shelter with Night-by-Night set-up then each night of a Bed Night Attendance Services is counted for the Average column.
Permanent Housing Projects to be included as an occupied bed:
o Housing Move-in Date <= Report End Date AND
o Housing Move-in Date >= Project Start Date AND
o Housing Move-in Date < Project Exit Date OR NULL
Data Quality (DQ%)
This column shows the average percentage of clients’ Data Quality related to the Personally Identifiable Information fields per program. Data Elements included are shown below.
Unq
This column is the unique count of active clients during the reporting month.
