[HUDX-224] PATH Annual Report [FY 2022]

Report Purpose and Summary

This report provides details of all clients according to PATH Reporting Specifications. It provides information for PATH grantees. Anyone can run the report, but the returned information will be limited based on the access rights of the user.

Instructions

Make sure you are operating in Clarity under the agency you are running the report for. You can check and change this under your name in the top right corner.

Step 1: Click on the Launchpad and select the Reports icon.

Step 2: Once on the Reports main page, click the down arrow next to HUD Reports to expand the section. 

Step 3: Click the Run button next to v3.5 [HUDX-224] PATH Annual Report.

Reporting Parameters

Step 4: Enter the following parameters:

Switch Access Agency(-ies) Choose which Agency(-ies) you want to report on (hold either control/command/shift button to select multiple)
Program CoC(s) Choose which Continuum of Care to run the report (hold either control/command/shift button to select multiple)
Program Type(s) Choose which program type(s) to include (hold either control/command/shift button to select multiple)
Program Status Choosewhether to include only Active, Inactive or all programs
Program(s) Choose which programs to include (hold either control/command/shift button to select multiple)
Report Date Range Choose the date range of enrollments to include
Report Output Format Choose *Web Page, PDF, Excel, or Zip with CSV

*Drilldown Functionality is available when run in Web Page Format   

Step 5: Click submit

The file will be sent to the Report Queue. Once the report is processed, you will receive a notification that the report is ready.

To open the report, either select Open on the popup or click the Queue icon and then click Open.

Reporting Details

PATH grantees should refer to grant instructions for user credentials, website, and upload instructions. Once the upload is complete, the following are some suggestions for handling issues flagged in the upload.

  • Budget Questions 1-7 - these questions are not collected in HMIS and must be completed manually by the user.
  • Question 10 - at this writing, this field only applies to Services Only projects. However, the field is flagged for Street Outreach projects. To resolve, add a comment to explain. For example:
    • Street Outreach project, not Services Only

For any other flags, correct data quality problems where appropriate or add a comment to explain why there is an issue with the question.
