[OUTS-106] Client Demographics
Report Purpose and Summary
This is a program-based report that provides client demographic details for selected programs for a specified date range. For the service-based version of this report, use either [OUTS-105] Client Demographics Report or [OUTS-105-F] Client Demographics Report (Client Profile based) under the Service Based Reports Section.
Make sure you are operating in Clarity under the agency you are running the report for. You can check and change this under your name in the top right corner.
Step 1: Click on the Launchpad, then click on the Reports icon.
Step 2: In the Report Library, click the down arrow next to the Program Based Reports folder to expand the section.
Step 3: Click the Run button next [OUTS-106] Client Demographics.
Step 4: Enter the following parameters
|Select the Program(s) to include in the report (hold either control/command/shift button to select multiple)
|All, Active, or Inactive
|Select the Program(s) you would like to include in the report. The Program(s) displayed for selection will align with the Program Type(s) and Program Status selected above (hold either control/command/shift button to select multiple)
|All (includes Yes, No, Client refused. Client Doesn’t Know, Data Not Collected, and NULL values saved on Client Profile), or choose to narrow down by the selected Veteran Status response
|Client Project Stays
|Select All Active (during the reporting period), Newly Enrolled (during the reporting period), or Exiting (during the reporting period)
|Report Date Range
|Enter the date range of enrollments to include
|Report Output Format
|*Web Page, PDF, or Excel
*Drilldown Functionality is available when run in Web Page Format
Step 5: Click submit
The file will be sent to the Report Queue. Once the report is processed, you will receive a notification that the report is ready.
To open the report, either select Open on the popup or click the Queue icon and then click Open.
This report provides the following demographic information for person enrolled in specified program(s) during the reporting period. All the data on this version of the demographic report pulls information from two places in the client record: The client profile screen and the program enrollment.
Age Range - At Program Start or Report Date Range Start, whichever is later
Disabled (Adults & HoH)
Chronic Health Condition
Mental Health Problem
Chronic Homelessness (Adults & HoH) - At Project Start
Veteran Status (Adults Only)
Prior Living Situation (Adults & HoH)
Prior Living Duration (Adults & HoH)
Individual Income (Adults & HoH)
This report employs the use of bar/column charts and pie charts to visualize the included data. For each type, a table is included to display details on the data in all report output formats (Web Page, PDF, and Excel).
Each count in this report is equipped with drilldown functionality that enables the user to determine specific client information associated with each element.
