Calendar Feature

The Calendar feature in Clarity allows users to manage client appointments, track follow-ups, and organize service schedules directly within the HMIS. This guide walks you through how to access, set up, and use the Calendar, including integration with iCalendar.

Accessing the Calendar

  • Log into Clarity
  • From the top navigation bar, select Calendar.
  • The Calendar will open in Month view by default.
  • You can switch to Week or Day view using the buttons in the top-right corner.

Creating a New Event

In the client record, click on the “Schedule Appointment” icon in the right sidebar

Enter the following details:

Title: A clear description of the appointment (e.g., “Housing Navigation Check-in”).

Date and Time: Set the start and end time.

Location: Add a location if relevant.

Select Save. The event will now appear on your Calendar

Deleting an Event

  •  Hover your mouse over an event in your Calendar
  •   A grey trashcan icon will appear, clicking it will permanently delete the appointment

Setting up ICalendar

  • In the Calendar view, select “Subscribe to ICalendar”.

  • A website token will be generated by Clarity and added to the “Subscribe from web” tab of your outlook calendar. Once you have labeled your calendar make sure to click the “import” button at the bottom of the screen.

This will allow you to add and view your Clarity Calendar from additional calendar applications.

Note: After subscribing to ICalendar, it may take up to 12 hours to update appointments.
